HCA Warriors Blow Away Praise Academy by Ten Runs

BASEBALL–  The Warriors defeated Region Opponent Praise Academy on Monday night 11-1 behind a strong pitching performance from Luke Sell. Sell threw a complete game (5 innings) with 11 strikeouts and added 2 hits with 3 RBIs at the plate. Jack Fayard had 2 hits and 3 RBIs while Noah Key and Malachi Mathis had 2 hits apiece. Coach Smith said “The boys played well tonight. Beginning region play at 2-0 is big for us as our schedule will begin to toughen up after the break. Defensively, the team is really getting into a rhythm. Evan Holcombe made a nice diving snag at first base and our team communicates very well on that side of the ball.” The Warriors play Kings Academy today at 5:00pm at Lebanon Baptist Church
