Did you know the Forsyth County MTB Teams are part of the Georgia Cycling Association which is one of the fastest growing sports in the nation? Also known as “FoCo MTB”, the team began in 2017 as a Composite Team with a handful of riders and a few coaches and has exploded to more than 100 riders and over 50 coaches! HCA 6th grader Cooper Shefchunas has always had a love for mountain biking so after hearing through friends about a mountain biking team he quickly jumped on the opportunity. Cooper has been getting better every race. Cooper represents HCA as he rides amongst other kids from local schools like Denmark, Forsyth Central, North Forsyth, South Forsyth and West Forsyth.
These teams are open to both girls and boys and requires no previous experience.
